We welcome you to stay at our Alaska
bed and breakfast inn and cabin to enhance your Alaska vacation. Our B&B has
been inspected and approved for comfort, quality, and personal
touches. Your Alaska lodging can range from the rooms in our B&B or
our cabin, there is something to appeal to all tastes. Located on top of
the spectacular bluffs overlooking Cook Inlet, view
the beauty of the Kenai Peninsula from our back yard. See
beautiful views of Mount Redoubt, Mount Spur and other active
volcanoes from the deck. Go fly a kite, or watch midnight sunsets
from the bluffs overlooking the inlet.
Located between Homer and
Soldotna, Ocean Bluff is an excellent
place to stay when you want to get away from the noise of the city
but still close enough to the fishing action.
You'll be
about 30 minutes to both the Deep
Creek halibut fishing launch site
and meeting points for the Kenai River salmon trips.

The Kasilof River
take-out point is just five minutes away; the launch site
about 10
minutes further.
Whether you want to fish for salmon or halibut,
beach comb for sea shells, fly in for bear viewing,
dig for clams at Clam Gulch,
or hike
the
area, you will find our bed and breakfast is
the
perfect place to stay. The trees surrounding the house are favorite nesting
spots for the many bald eagles in our area.
You may even see a dog sled team summer
training down on the beach, or a mother moose teaching her young the best places to
find dinner (usually in our backyard!) and during the months of June and
July, you can watch fishermen pull in their catch from set nets, right below
you. Or sit back and watch the 15- 20 foot tides ebb and flow from the
swing set or the dock on top of the bluff.

No
matter what you decide to do during your Alaskan vacation, you will start your
day with a full hardy breakfast . including reindeer sausage and the
sourdough pancakes, made from a start that is over 100 years old, that
go
perfectly with our homemade jellies and syrups, made from raspberries
and blueberries that are picked right here, and fresh fruit is always a
part of these delicious breakfasts. After a hard day of fishing, or just
sight seeing, relax around the fire pit and compare fishing stories,
enjoying some Halibut Spread or some of our famous smoked salmon.

We welcome you to the Last Frontier and hope you
will join us at our “little piece of paradise”! Jay & Kathy Carlisle
